The Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans got by the host Kent School Lions baseball team by a count of 6-5 in Saturday's league bout.
The Pelicans now possess a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hotchkiss School for a Founders bout on Monday, May 15. Loomis Chaffee School will face a Bearcats team coming off a 21-2 league loss to Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-14.
Next, the Lions face the Hotchkiss School Bearcats (Lakeville, CT) in a Founders bout, on Wednesday, May 17. Kent School will attempt to move on its 1-17 season record. The Bearcats enter the bout with a 0-15 record after their 13-3 league loss to Loomis Chaffee School (Windsor, CT).
