The Pomfret School Griffins baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Wilbraham & Monson Academy Titans to 2 in the Griffins league victory on Saturday.
The Griffins (4-10) will now prepare for their match against Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT). The Crimson Knights go into the Western New England match with a 14-3 record. In their last match, Salisbury School edged Frederick Gunn (Washington, CT), 10-4, in a league match.
The Titans (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Millbrook School (Millbrook, NY). The Mustangs go into the Western New England match with a 7-7 record. In their last match, Millbrook School by Suffield Academy (Suffield, CT), 2-0, in a league match.
