Illinois High School Volleyball - Plainfield East can't hold off Joliet Catholic

In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Plainfield East Bengals.
The Hilltoppers now have a 25-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenbard South for a non-league test on Saturday, May 13. Joliet Catholic will confront a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 23-7.
The Bengals (27-7) will now prepare for their test against Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Saxons enter the non-league test with a 11-19 record. In their last test, Schaumburg held off Highland Park (Highland Park, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
