In Saturday's non-league contest, the Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) softball team held off the host Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, Taft moves its record to 24-6 on the year. The Eagles host Antioch (Antioch, IL) to play the Sequoits in a non-league contest on Monday, May 15. The Sequoits come into the contest with a record of 0-1.
