The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) and the host St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL), saw Antioch's softball squad nip St. Charles North by a count of 16-15.

The Sequoits now sport a 24-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wauconda for a Northern Lake County match on Tuesday, May 16. Antioch will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-5 non-league win over Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 21-8.

With the loss, St. Charles North falls to 17-5 on the campaign. The North stars host Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL) to face the Panthers in a DuKane match on Monday, May 15. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 13-7. Glenbard North won 3-2 in their recent league match against Lake Park (Roselle, IL)
