Ohio High School Softball - Danbury bounces Old Fort

The Danbury Lakers routed the host Old Fort Stockaders softball squad by a final score of 23-8 in Saturday's league battle.

The Lakers (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH). The Crimson Streaks go into the non-league battle with a 13-12 record. In their last battle, St. Joseph Central Catholic notched a victory over Calvert (Tiffin, OH), 5-4, in a league battle.

The Stockaders now possess a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lakota for a Sandusky Bay - River battle on Tuesday, May 16. Old Fort will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 6-15.
