Georgia High School Softball - Old Plank Christian Academy bounces Southside Christian

Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders (Jacksonville, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Southside Christian Patriots (Waycross, GA), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Defenders now own a 21-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southside Christian for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 13. Old Plank Christian Academy will face a Patriots squad coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Open Bible Christian (Valdosta, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Southside Christian falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Old Plank Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL) to face the Defenders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 13. The Defenders enter the challenge with a record of 19-1. Old Plank Christian Academy won 14-1 in their recent non-league challenge against First Christian (High Springs, FL)
