The Blazer Tomcats baseball team scored 2 runs and limited the visiting Lewis County Lions to 1 in the Tomcats non-league victory on Monday.
The Tomcats (6-20) will now prepare for their match against East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 18-6 record. In their last match, East Carter tipped Russell (Russell, KY), 11-5, in a non-league match.
The Lions (13-14) will now prepare for their match against West Carter (Olive Hill, KY). The Comets go into the non-league match with a 8-15 record. In their last match, West Carter was edged by Bath County (Owingsville, KY), 13-6, in a non-league match.
