The Buckingham Knights baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Randolph-Henry Statesmen to 3 in the Knights league victory on Monday.
The Knights (14-0) will now prepare for their match against Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA). The Raiders go into the James River match with a 8-7 record. In their last match, Amelia County was overwhelmed by Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA), 7-2, in a league match.
The Statesmen (16-3) will now prepare for their match against Nottoway (Nottoway, VA). The Cougars go into the James River match with a 4-13 record. In their last match, Nottoway edged Southampton (Courtland, VA), 4-1, in a non-league match.
