The Glenwood City Hilltoppers crushed the visiting Colfax Vikings baseball team by a tally of 16-6 in Monday's league bout.
The Hilltoppers now hold a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elmwood/Plum City for a Dunn-St. Croix bout on Thursday, May 16. Glenwood City will clash with a Wolves team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Pepin/Alma (Pepin, WI). The Wolves record now stands at 1-16.
The Vikings (4-9) will now prepare for their game against Spring Valley (Spring Valley, WI). The Cardinals go into the Dunn-St. Croix game with a 6-9 record. In their last game, Spring Valley was overwhelmed by Elk Mound (Elk Mound, WI), 11-1, in a league game.
