Monday, May 13, 2024 – It wasn’t pretty, but the desired outcome resulted as La Salle Academy ran past Cristo Rey, 16-4 in five innings at American Legion Youth Complex in Brooklyn. The Cardinals put up crooked numbers in four straight innings to secure the victory for Ryan Gallaher who pitched a complete game. Kerick Tejada had two hits, 4 RBIs and three runs scored as La Salle improved to 4-6 in CHSAA A division play.
On Deck: It’s Senior Night as La Salle hosts Bishop Loughlin on Tuesday, May 14th on Randall’s Island field #43. Cardinal seniors Josiah Pichardo and captain, Manuel Ramirez will play their final regular season home game and be honored during a pre-game ceremony.
