The Greenville Lakers baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Penobscot Valley Howlers to 4 in the Lakers non-league victory on Monday.
The Lakers (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Mount View (Thorndike, ME). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, Mount View was overwhelmed by Washington Academy (East Machias, ME), 9-7, in a league match.
The Howlers (3-8) will now prepare for their match against Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME). The Patriots go into the Class D North match with a 3-9 record. In their last match, Bangor Christian was overwhelmed by Woodland (Baileyville, ME), 20-0, in a league match.
