The Powell County Pirates baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls to 0 in the Pirates league victory on Monday.
The Pirates (21-8) will now prepare for their match against Paintsville (Paintsville, KY). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 17-13 record. In their last match, Paintsville was overwhelmed by Lawrence County (Louisa, KY), 7-6, in a non-league match.
