The Washburn Castle Guards baseball team scored 35 runs and limited the host South Shore Cardinals to 5 in the Castle Guards league victory on Monday.
The Castle Guards (9-2) will now prepare for their match against Chequamegon (Park Falls, WI). The Screaming Eagles go into the non-league match with a 3-13 record. In their last match, Chequamegon gained a win over Tomahawk (Tomahawk, WI), 7-1, in a non-league match.
The Cardinals (2-8) will now prepare for their match against Siren (Siren, WI). The Dragons go into the non-league match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Siren was overwhelmed by Webster (Webster, WI), 16-1, in a league match.
