The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Howell Rebels (Farmingdale, NJ) and the host Marlboro Mustangs (Marlboro, NJ), saw Howell's volleyball squad nip Marlboro by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Howell upgrades its record to 17-3 on the year. The Rebels travel to Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ) to play the Cougars in a Shore - A North bout on Tuesday, May 14. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Colts Neck won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Middletown North (Middletown, NJ)

The Mustangs now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Barnegat for a non-league bout on Monday, May 13. Marlboro will play a Bengals squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ). The Bengals record now stands at 16-3.
