Connecticut High School Volleyball - Kolbe-Cathedral crushed by Newtown

The Newtown Nighthawks topped the visiting Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's league test.

The Nighthawks now have a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Joel Barlow for a South-West test on Tuesday, May 14. Newtown will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-1 league win over Masuk (Monroe, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 16-0.

The Cougars (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Harding (Bridgeport, CT). The Presidents enter the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Harding was knocked off by New Britain (New Britain, CT), 3-0, in a non-league test.
