The Masconomet Regional Chieftains lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the visiting Marblehead Magicians to 6 in the Chieftains league win on Monday.
The Chieftains (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Haverhill (Haverhill, MA). The Hillies go into the non-league game with a 3-2 record.
The Magicians (4-10) will now prepare for their game against Winthrop (Winthrop, MA). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Winthrop was overwhelmed by Danvers (Danvers, MA), 15-14, in a non-league game.
