The Howell Central Spartans held off the visiting Fort Zumwalt North Panthers soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Monday's league match.
The Spartans now sport a 16-3 record. They play next when they host Howell for a Class 4 District 3 match on Monday, May 13. Howell Central will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Marquette (Chesterfield, MO). The Vikings record now stands at 6-12.
With the loss, Fort Zumwalt North drops to 13-7 on the season.
