In Monday's league test, the host Cumberland Clippers lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-9 victory over the South Kingstown Rebels.

The Clippers now have a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Middletown for a Division 2 test on Thursday, May 16. Cumberland will face a Islanders squad coming off a 13-11 league loss to Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Islanders record now stands at 3-10.

In their next game, the Rebels face the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) in a Division 2 test, on Thursday, May 16. South Kingstown will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Chargers enter the game with a 5-9 record after their 13-6 league loss to Prout (Wakefield, RI).
