The Hanover Hawks lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the visiting Mechanicsville Mustangs to 3 in the Hawks league win on Monday.
The Hawks (8-4) will now prepare for their match against Godwin (Richmond, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, Godwin was overwhelmed by Manchester (Midlothian, VA), 14-7, in a non-league match.
The Mustangs (7-6) will now prepare for their match against Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA). The Springers go into the Capital match with a 1-10 record. In their last match, Highland Springs was overwhelmed by Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA), 13-2, in a non-league match.
