In Monday's league battle, the host Tunstall Trojans soccer squad scored a good 13-0 win over the Martinsville Bulldogs.

The Trojans (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Comets go into the Piedmont battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Halifax County notched a victory over Bassett (Bassett, VA), 3-1, in a league test.

With the loss, Martinsville drops to 0-17 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Dan River (Ringgold, VA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, May 17. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 6-6. Dan River lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA)
