Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL), 9-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 18-9 record. They take the field next when they host Downers Grove South for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. Wheaton-Warrenville South will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 19-6.

With the loss, Batavia falls to 3-21 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL) to face the Panthers in a DuKane challenge on Wednesday, May 15. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 16-8. Glenbard North lost 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL)
