Kelley Mariners (Silver Bay, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Cook County Vikings (Grand Marais, MN), 14-1 in a league challenge.

The Mariners now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cook County for a Polar challenge on Monday, May 13. Kelley will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 22-7 non-league loss to Mountain Iron-Buhl (Mountain Iron, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Cook County falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Kelley (Silver Bay, MN) to battle the Mariners in a Polar challenge on Monday, May 13. The Mariners enter the challenge with a record of 10-2.
