Triton Mustangs (Runnemede, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Deptford Spartans (Deptford, NJ), 11-1 in a league match.

The Mustangs now sport a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Haddon Township for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 15. Triton will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 19-4 league win over Lindenwold (Lindenwold, NJ). The Hawks record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Deptford moves to 5-12 on the season. The Spartans travel to Pennsville Memorial (Pennsville, NJ) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 15. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 14-4. Pennsville Memorial won 18-0 in their recent league match against Pitman (Pitman, NJ)
