Williamston Hornets (Williamston, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host DeWitt Panthers (DeWitt, MI), 13-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 16-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastern for a Capital Area - Red challenge on Tuesday, May 14. Williamston will battle a Quakers squad coming off a 17-1 league loss to Fowlerville (Fowlerville, MI). The Quakers record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, DeWitt falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Oxford (Oxford, MI) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 18. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 4-7.
