Spectators at Monday's league match between the Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL) and the visiting Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL), witnessed Grayslake North's softball squad tip Lakes by a count of 4-3.

The Knights now sport a 4-18 record. They play next when they travel to Round Lake for a Northern Lake County match on Wednesday, May 15. Grayslake North will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-17.

With the loss, Lakes moves to 14-13 on the season. The Eagles travel to Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL) to meet the Bulldogs in a Northern Lake County match on Thursday, May 16. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 11-16. Grant Community won 20-0 in their recent league match against Round Lake (Round Lake, IL)
