Lakeside Dragons (Ashtabula, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Harvey Red Raiders (Painesville, OH), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Dragons now sport a 2-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to Perry for a Chagrin Valley - Lake challenge on Tuesday, May 14. Lakeside will face a Pirates squad coming off a 20-9 non-league loss to Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 17-8.

With the loss, Harvey falls to 5-10 on the campaign.
