The High Point Wildcats softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Sparta Spartans to 4 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, High Point moves its record to 16-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ) to clash with the Devils in a NJAC - Freedom game on Tuesday, May 14. The Devils come into the game with a record of 6-10. Morris County Tech won 11-0 in their recent non-league game against Warren County Tech (Washington, NJ)
In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Randolph Rams (Randolph, NJ) in a NJAC - American game, on Wednesday, May 15. Sparta will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 13-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ).
