The Phoenix Firebirds softball team scored 37 runs and limited the host Homer Trojans to 17 in the Firebirds non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Phoenix moves its record to 4-11 on the year. The Firebirds travel to Pulaski (Pulaski, NY) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 14. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 6-5. Pulaski lost 9-1 in their recent league game against Port Byron (Port Byron, NY)
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Syracuse, NY) in a Section 3 Liberty 1 game, on Tuesday, May 14. Homer will attempt to move on its 1-13 season record.
