Parish Hill Pirates (Chaplin, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons (Bloomfield, CT), 14-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 15-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Weaver for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 15.
With the loss, Metropolitan Learning Center falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to University (Hartford, CT) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 15. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 9-0. University won 10-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Academy of Aerospace and Engineering (Windsor, CT)
