Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Warren County Wildcats (Front Royal, VA), 7-2 in a league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 6-13 record. They take the field next when they host Fauquier for a Northwestern challenge on Tuesday, May 14. Skyline will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Sherando (Stephens City, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 11-6.

With the loss, Warren County falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to James Wood (Winchester, VA) to battle the Colonels in a Northwestern challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Colonels enter the challenge with a record of 14-4. James Wood lost 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA)
