Spectators at Monday's league match between the Tell City Marksmen (Tell City, IN) and the host South Spencer Rebels (Rockport, IN), witnessed Tell City's softball squad tip South Spencer by a count of 2-0.

The Marksmen now sport a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Pike Central for a Pocket match on Wednesday, May 15. Tell City will face a Chargers squad coming off a 18-12 non-league loss to Evansville North (Evansville, IN). The Chargers record now stands at 6-14.

With the loss, South Spencer moves to 3-18 on the season. The Rebels host Southridge (Huntingburg, IN) to face the Raiders in a Pocket match on Wednesday, May 15. The Raiders go into the match with a record of 13-5. Southridge won 1-0 in their recent league match against Princeton (Princeton, IN)
