Massachusetts High School Baseball - Abington holds off Carver

The Abington Green Wave baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Carver Crusaders to 1 in the Green Wave league win on Tuesday.

The Green Wave now hold a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Mashpee for a South Shore test on Thursday, May 15. Abington will play a Falcons team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Cohasset (Cohasset, MA). The Falcons record now stands at 7-9.

With the defeat, Carver drops to 4-9 on the year. The Crusaders travel to St. John Paul II (Hyannis, MA) to play the Lions in a non-league test on Thursday, May 15. The Lions go into the test with a record of 17-1. St. John Paul II lost 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Fairhaven (Fairhaven, MA)
