Kentucky High School Baseball - Bowling Green sneaks past Barren County

May 13, 2025: Glasgow, KY 42141

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Bowling Green Purples (Bowling Green, KY) and the host Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY), saw Bowling Green's baseball team get by Barren County by a tally of 5-4.

The Purples (20-10) will now prepare for their battle against Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 17-9 record. In their last battle, Apollo held off Henderson County (Henderson, KY), 8-7, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Trojans face the Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 14. Barren County will attempt to upgrade on its 22-8 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 22-5 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Southwestern (Somerset, KY).
