The Fruitport Trojans baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Belding Black Knights to 1 in the Trojans non-league win on Tuesday.

The Trojans now own a 17-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hamilton for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 14. Fruitport will play a Hawkeyes team coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Zeeland East (Zeeland, MI). The Hawkeyes record now stands at 17-3.

With the defeat, Belding drops to 5-11 on the year. The Black knights travel to Lakewood (Lake Odessa, MI) to play the Vikings in a non-league test on Friday, May 16. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 18-13. Lakewood won 4-1 in their recent league test against Lansing Catholic (Lansing, MI)
