The Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Rice Memorial Green Knights to 6 in the Bobwhites/Comets non-league win on Tuesday.

The Bobwhites/Comets now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Champlain Valley Union for a non-league test on Thursday, May 15. Bellows Free Academy will clash with a Redhawks team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT). The Redhawks record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Rice Memorial drops to 5-2 on the year. The Green knights travel to South Burlington (South Burlington, VT) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league test on Thursday, May 15. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 3-1. South Burlington won 7-1 in their recent non-league test against Burlington (Burlington, VT)
