New York High School Baseball - Ichabod Crane edges Schalmont

The Ichabod Crane Riders baseball team scored 4 runs and restricted the visiting Schalmont Sabres to 1 in the Riders league victory on Tuesday.
The Riders (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY). The Warriors enter the Section 2 Colonial battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Mohonasen held off Cohoes (Cohoes, NY), 5-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Sabres face the Colonie Central Wolfpack (Albany, NY) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 14. Schalmont will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Wolfpack enter the battle with a 10-4 record after their 11-0 league win over Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY).
