In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Maury Commodores baseball team scored a close 1-0 win over the Norcom Greyhounds.
The Commodores (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Norview (Norfolk, VA). The Pilots go into the Eastern game with a 9-8 record. In their last game, Norview was tipped by Churchland (Portsmouth, VA), 14-2, in a league game.
Next, the Greyhounds play the Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) in a Eastern battle, on Friday, May 16. Norcom will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 7-11 record after their 2-0 league win over Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA).
