Ohio High School Baseball - Unioto defeats McClain

May 13, 2025: Greenfield, OH 45123

The Unioto Shermans (Chillicothe, OH) baseball trounced the host McClain Tigers (Greenfield, OH), 7-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Shermans now own a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Zane Trace for a Scioto Valley challenge on Thursday, May 15. Unioto will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 12-2 league win over Adena (Frankfort, OH). The Pioneers record now stands at 17-3.

With the defeat, McClain drops to 5-13 on the year. The Tigers travel to Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 15. The Broncos go into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Western Brown won 14-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Clermont Northeastern (Batavia, OH)
