The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Monadnock Huskies (East Swanzey, NH) and the host Newport Tigers (Newport, NH), saw Monadnock's baseball team gain a win over Newport by a tally of 14-0.
The Huskies (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Fall Mountain (Langdon, NH). The Wildcats enter the Division III battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Fall Mountain was overwhelmed by Conant (Jaffrey, NH), 12-3, in a league battle.
Next, the Tigers face the Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH) in a Division III battle, on Wednesday, May 14. Newport will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 6-4 record after their 14-1 non-league win over Hillsboro-Deering (Hillsboro, NH).
