The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Sherwood Marksmen (Creighton, MO) and the host Montrose Blue Jays (Montrose, MO), saw Sherwood's baseball team gain a win over Montrose by a tally of 8-3.

The Marksmen (14-16) will now prepare for their battle against Holden (Holden, MO). The Eagles enter the Class 3 District 14 battle with a 13-10 record. In their last battle, Holden was overwhelmed by Cole Camp (Cole Camp, MO), 5-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Blue Jays face the Wheatland Mules (Wheatland, MO) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 14. Montrose will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Mules enter the battle with a 27-4 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Seneca (Seneca, MO).
