The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the New London Whalers (New London, CT) and the visiting Windham Whippets (Willimantic, CT), saw New London's baseball team beat Windham by a margin of 10-0.
The Whalers (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Rams enter the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Old Saybrook was overwhelmed by Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT), 4-3, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Whippets face the Ellis RVT Eagles (Killingly, CT) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 15. Windham will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Cheney Tech (Manchester, CT).
