The Steubenville Big Red baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting St. Clairsville Red Devils to 5 in the Big Red non-league win on Tuesday.

The Big Red now own a 10-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edison for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 14. Steubenville will play a Wildcats team coming off a 8-4 league loss to Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-7.

With the defeat, St. Clairsville drops to 17-5 on the year. The Red devils travel to Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH) to play the Panthers in a Ohio Valley Athletic AAAA test on Wednesday, May 14. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 8-15. Buckeye Local lost 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Shadyside (Shadyside, OH)
