The Granite City Warriors tipped the visiting Metro-East Lutheran Knights volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 19. Granite City will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Maroons enter the game with a 12-16 record after their 2-0 league loss to Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL).
The Knights (2-17) will now prepare for their game against Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL). The Crusaders enter the Gateway Metro game with a 23-7 record. In their last game, Althoff Catholic was tipped by Belleville West (Belleville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
