Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Medford Raiders (Medford, WI) and the visiting Northland Pines Eagles (Eagle River, WI), saw Medford's soccer squad hold off Northland Pines by a count of 3-2.

The Raiders (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI). The Hodags enter the Great Northern battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Rhinelander tipped Mosinee (Mosinee, WI), 3-0, in a league battle.
