The Mid Valley Spartans baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Holy Cross Crusaders to 2 in the Spartans non-league win on Tuesday.
The Spartans now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Riverside for a non-league test on Friday, May 16.
With the defeat, Holy Cross drops to 0-3 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Honesdale (Honesdale, PA) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league test on Thursday, May 15. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 1-5. Honesdale lost 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA)
