California High School Softball - Clairemont succumbs to University City

May 13, 2025: San Diego, CA 92122

In Tuesday's league test, the University City Centurions (San Diego, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA), by a tally of 15-1.

Next, the Centurions clash with the Madison Warhawks (San Diego, CA) in a test, on Thursday, May 15. University City will attempt to advance on its 15-7 season record. The Warhawks go into the test with a 1-7 record after their 20-3 league loss to Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA).

The Chieftains (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Point Loma (San Diego, CA). The Pointers go into the non-league test with a 17-7 record. In their last test, Point Loma was routed by West Hills (Santee, CA), 5-4, in a non-league test.
