Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK) and the host Nikiski Bulldogs (Nikiski, AK), saw Soldotna's soccer squad overwhelm Nikiski by a count of 12-0.
The Stars (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Palmer (Palmer, AK). The Moose enter the non-league battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Palmer notched a victory over Redington (Wasilla, AK), 15-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Kenai Central Kardinals (Kenai, AK) in a Peninsula battle, on Friday, May 16. Nikiski will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Kardinals enter the battle with a 8-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Homer (Homer, AK).
