The Badger/Greenbush-Middle River Gators edged the visiting Roseau Rams softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Gators meet the Goodridge/Thief River Falls Huskies (Goodridge, MN) in a Freelance challenge, on Thursday, May 15. Badger/Greenbush-Middle River will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record.
The Rams (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart (East Grand Forks, MN). The Eagles enter the Freelance challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Sacred Heart edged Bagley (Bagley, MN), 10-0, in a non-league challenge.
