In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Blazer Tomcats softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Russell Red Devils.

The Tomcats (14-14) will now prepare for their contest against Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Musketeers enter the non-league contest with a 22-5 record. In their last contest, Greenup County thwarted Rowan County (Morehead, KY), 5-1, in a non-league contest.

The Red Devils now hold a 8-15 record. They play next when they host Paintsville for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 15. Russell will face a Tigers squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 10-14.
